Fall being right around the corner makes this choice and easy one. Going to see a friend or someone recuperating from a hospital stay. You know the old adage and apple a day keeps the doctor away? Why not bring this cute apple baker and a basket or bag full of fresh apples. This will sure to make that special someone start to feel better when they see how thoughtful you were.
I thought of this idea because our pasta bowl is so large why not fill it with all the ingredients for a wonderful Italian dinner. Make or buy your favorite sauce and put it in a jar or plastic container. Make or purchase your favorite pasta. A bottle of wine or some bread sticks. Place all the things you feel make for a wonderful meal into this bowl and present it to the newlyweds, newly engaged, new home owner or even new parents. I know anyone would be appreciative of a meal presented in our beautiful pasta serving bowl.
Our soup bowls would make a lovely gift all on their own, but why not dress them up a bit and place in a basket with a dry soup mix, or make up a layered jar of friendship soup and along with the bowls place a biscuit mix or bread mix in the basket. You could take just one of the covered bowls from the set and place it in a gift bag with your favorite can of soup or chili to help cheer up that special someone who is feeling a little under the weather.
