Nonstick Cookware

Use only plastic, wood or coated utensils on your nonstick pans to protect the finish. All non-
stick coatings are covered under the non-stick manufactures warranty. Scratches or other
damage caused by misuse of the non-stick coating is not covered under any warranty.

Seasoning

Be sure to season your pans before using them to help prevent food from sticking or burning.
To do this, rub a few drops of cooking oil into the pan’s interior and wipe clean. Repeat this
step as often as you deem necessary.

Cooking tips and problem solving

Our heavy-gauge aluminum bottom and layered aluminum designs make maximum use of
minimum heat. Care must therefore be taken when first using our cookware to ensure
stovetop and oven temperatures do not burn your food.

If you’re having problems with food sticking to the bottom of your cookware, make sure it is
thoroughly cleaned, the heat is not set too high, and the stove or range top is level.
To avoid salt pitting in your cookware’s stainless steel interior, add salt after food has started
to cook or boil.

Use wooden or plastic utensils with our cookware to reduce surface scratching. Cookware
with glass lids and/or Bakelite handles and knobs must not be used in the oven.

Screws are used to attach the handles of some of our pots and pans. With time and extended
use, some of these screws may loosen slightly. These can be easily tightened with a
screwdriver.

To avoid warping your
cookware, always heat your cookware gradually and never pour cold
liquid into a hot pot or pan.
Care & Use
Stainless Steel Cookware Care and Cleaning

Before using your cookware for the first time, wash
each piece in hot, soapy water with a sponge or soft
dishcloth. Rinse each piece under hot water and dry
completely with a dishtowel to avoid water spots.
Follow the same procedure during regular use. If
scrubbing is necessary, use a nylon scouring pad with
warm, soapy water. Do not use steel wool, chlorine
cleaners, or oven detergents.
Our stainless steel cookware is dishwasher safe.
However, the exterior polishing may be dulled from repeated dishwasher use. To ensure the
highest quality shine, commercial stainless steel cleaners may be used. Apply such
treatments using circular rubbing motions and rinse them off under warm water.
