When I read this recipe I was kind of turned off by the ingredients and I had said to my husband that I was not going to make all the recipes in my moms collection because some of them just sounded unappetizing.
In our home I usually have nine people waking up Christmas Morning, I found that if I keep things simple for breakfast it makes for a less chaotic morning.
I remember receiving this recipe from my ex-husband which was my husband at the time. He found the recipe in the local paper and made it for breakfast for the family.
I am one of those cooks that thinks a single recipe of something will never be enough for the meal. So this Thanksgiving I doubled the recipe for cranberry sauce.
