In honors of Mothers day I have found one of my mothers favorite recipes. It took me awhile to find it because it was so faded and worn I could hardly read the title. I remember having this delicious cake often in the house, it is a moist and versatile cake that can be served anytime. After reading the ingredients you may think this is a really sweet coffee cake, but it isn't. I guess you could sweeten it up by making a powdered sugar glaze for the top or making extra of the filling to sprinkle on the top. In honor of your mother I hope you give this recipe a try.
